there are some people who always thinks that you can live without your art supplies(art in general) and move on without it, because to them; art isn't a career where you would get tons of money out of it in the end, WRONG.
People always thinks that, by doing something else besides ART, you have a life of worth doing something. Can I tell you folks that, I CAN'T live without art? art is an education were you'd possibly get the most of the payment than anything else as a job. without art in general, how would you get all the fancy technology and measurements to HELP you on your job? Explain that folks, GOD GAVE US THIS TELNT TO HELP YOU! or as I normally say ti to people, we have the hand's of God of making creations in Life.
Now i don't think that this stamp has much relativeness towards what I typed here, but it shows that we artists can't seem to live without having to draw; it's like people who can't seem to live without drugs or cigarretts, except being addicted to art is much better than the bad things lol.

xD omg couldn't agree more, one Time i lost my special pencil and i freaked out over it form school, and all my friend would say is "it's just a pencil relax" and i HATE it whenever they say something like that!

I also get grief from my parents for having a sketchbook on me anywhere I go.

I guess I'm an artist then xD I cried tears of joy when I got my tablet. I couldn't stop for at least 20 minutes. The only other thing I've cried tears of joy from was when I got an art program for christmas that I was pretty sure I wasn't getting.
My parents buy me art stuff and act supportive but in the back of their minds they think that art isn't gonna get me very far and only buy me stuff because they know there's no way they can change my mind and rather me be happy for now.

Thank you for making this. My teachers yell at me all the time for doodling on EVERYTHING. And I'm an honors kid, but they get so sick of it and whatnot. Etc, etc. You know this

Another thing I though I'd add, if you doodle on homework or other stuff that you turn in (as long as it's not something formal like a paper) most of the time they will doodle back/comment with funny jokes. <3 them! XD

In pre-highschool I use to get told that all the time. Now that I'm at an art college the teachers are specifically instructed to NOT tell us to stop doodling. As it's been proved to help memory. XD
Although, you still get the kids who don't pay any attention at all and JUST draw. Which is always bad (and givin' the rest of us a bad name!).

The saddest part of it is when nobody understands the artist's work. It's just the hardest thing to convey your message to the world and your vision sometimes, but I've seen it done wonderfully before.

This is the best stamp ever! I've been trying to explain to my family I can't live without art and the keep saying, drop the art, get good marks at school, go to uni and get a good job. It drives me crazy!

You're meant to be a cheerful and productive little consumer, contributing to the grey grind every day in your dull meaningless existance, toiling away unloved and unrewarded in a sad, claustrophobic workshop, spending what little you earn on pointless trinkets that will never fulfill you as a person, forcing you to work harder to attempt to enrich your life.
Art is just too colourful and magical to work in that life. Ditch it and do us all a favour.
