Here we were faced with the decision between either a fancy sandcastle or the dark shiny surface of silicon ingots. The latter option won - after all, the Stranger and I had been holding back on the metallic surfaces so that we could go for something like this.
But "dark blue-ish gray and shiny" was a bit basic, so the Stranger decided to throw some circuit patterns into the mix. Because microchips, y'know?
