Description My 4th Portrait finished! I didn't have the heart to call it 'Blending and Hair Study', as the model is a beauty!

Pic is about 7” by 10” on A4, using graphite pencils 2H – 8B

I've tried to look at blending and hair and try out a few new techniques, some of which have worked better than others! The hair still looks scratchy, so any hints and tips would be really welcome! I also haven't got the features that well either, as the face doesn't look quite right I've tried fixing it as much as I can, but I think I rushed into shading before making sure I was happy with the proportions first! Lesson learned for next time! My works in progress are all in my Scrapbook as usual! [link] (For anyone who's interested)

The Reference was: with the kind permission of the amazing =sachtikus .

His gallery is pretty amazing stuff and I saw this photo and thought 'I have GOT to try and draw that!'

Hope you all like it, but it's really a practice piece, as I try and improve, so please give me some tips!

pfff this is really amazing dude! you got like the 95% of all the details of the photo! amazing work, really! the hair is really amazing. as you said theres some details, but thats it, details! with the left eye, and with the bottom of the mouth. NICE WORK!

i really like this! im trying to see what parts dont look like the photo quite as much and i think if you were to make the eye brow on the right a bit steep like than curved, and just something about the eye on the left, thats all i can say ) but  youd have to focus and look hard to notice. the hair is amazing!

this is great I actually really like the hair! But maybe a tissue or other blending tools if u meant making it looks smooth...? I don't really know, I hate drawing hair myself haha so I can't give any tips on that

I really like this one best out of all your portrait (Not fan art related) Her eyes seem to pop amazingly as if they were real. And the highlighting on the hair is perfect! ^_____^
