My 4th Portrait finished! I didn't have the heart to call it 'Blending and Hair Study', as the model is a beauty!Pic is about 7” by 10” on A4, using graphite pencils 2H – 8B
I've tried to look at blending and hair and try out a few new techniques, some of which have worked better than others! The hair still looks scratchy, so any hints and tips would be really welcome!
I also haven't got the features that well either, as the face doesn't look quite right 
I've tried fixing it as much as I can, but I think I rushed into shading before making sure I was happy with the proportions first! Lesson learned for next time! His gallery is pretty amazing stuff and I saw this photo and thought 'I have GOT to try and draw that!'
Hope you all like it, but it's really a practice piece, as I try and improve, so please give me some tips!

The hair again, is beautiful! I love the placing of the highlights and you really do manage to get your blacks very black

I think it was my 4th portrait I'd ever attempted, but I learned so much drawing it, it really helped improve my technique

This is very well done! Your skill at drawing hair is very impressive in my opinion. Any advice about how to draw all those tiny strands?
One thing I would recommend is more contrast. Maybe it's just the way it looks on the computer, but this feels a bit more uniformly gray than the striking black and white in the original photo.

Contrast is my biggest weakness at the moment
I did the hair for that with a small mech pencil and used the corner of an eraser to do the light hairs...using the pencil to narrow any that were too thick
One of the tutorials in my favourites under tutorials is about hair...3 of them I think, so I used those.
