Le Morte D'Arthur? Norse Myths? Dune books?!?
Oooh! Ursula K Le Guin! Have you read her EarthSea collection??
Odd collection, however I have to say I have a freakishly similar collection.
I do love a good Arthurian romance. Do you have the French version or the English?

Heheh, awesome! Glad to hear it! I should photograph the rest of my collection. Then we can really compare!
I've read the first Earthsea book, back in high school. Didn't like it particularly, but I know she's highly regarded so I'm going to try some of her other stuff. Sometime.
The Morte D'Arthur's the Mallory, 14th-century England β¦ or 15th? Can't remember. The Knight, The Lady, and the Priest, if that's what you're meaning, is actually a scholarly work on the evolution of modern marriage ceremonies. I got it off my dad. (I've read several French Arthurian romances in translation, though. I like 'em, but nothing beats the kookiness of Mallory's dialect. )

You really should. I'd photograph mine... but mine is kinda all over the place.
Dang it, I got that mixed up again. *sigh* It's been awhile since I read that book and then struggled through some French stuff. Got 'em mixed up. My apologies. It messes with me that the French book I read had an English title and the English book had a French title.
Not sure why...

Heheh, then maybe when I'm bored. It's okay. I got it mixed up at first as well, before I got my copy.
I understand.

Yeah, yeah, but somewhere... somewhere my English professor is hitting his head against the wall again.
I always figure I did okay not getting the Irish, Norse, Native American, and Arthurian romances COMPLETELY mixed together during that class. I pride myself on that.

Poor guy.
That's a good thing indeedβespecially since the Irish, Norse, and North Americans didn't have romances, afaik. That was solely England and the Continent.

Yeah, I know. But when you're taking a final test and getting Wendigos (native american snow monster) and Loki (norse god) mixed up, your professor tends to look at you strangely.
