who am I?
please tell me,
because I can't remember my name
So, here's a random burst of inspiration. I'm not really sure if the idea of my wolf OC, Kenishi (the blonde wolf) turning into a demonic monster like his half-brother, Shigarashi(the black and purple wolf standing over him), should be canon, but, well, it's still a fun concept.
That's not to say this drawing isn't incredibly saddening. After all, the idea of sweet, innocent little Kenishi turning into a monster pulls at even my heartstrings.
I like how this turned out. At first, I didn't like it, because I didn't think I drew it well, but after coloring it, it looks great. I decided to try my hand at textures for once, and that actually turned out great. The rain doesn't look terrible for once, and the water running off of them is more wavy and wobbly, like it should be (usually I make them straight streams, which doesn't look very right, now that I think about it.)
All in all, I like how it turned out. It's quite symbolic, too, I suppose. In a weird, sickening way, Shigarashi is shielding Kenishi from the rain, but also casting a shadow over him, corrupting him.
My question is, where in the world is Yoru to stop all of this? (Kenishi's best friend) *cracks knuckles* If he's taking a nap again...

That poem means a lot..... is it from Shigi's point of view, or Nishi's? If you think deeply enough, it could be both. I wouldn' be able to remember my name if he was on top of me like that!
Kenishi going crazy would be more than a plot twist. It would be emotional scarring. Please, for the love of plots and my sanity, keep him cute and innocent. D,X
I do see how Shigarashi is shielding him from the rain, and how he's just plain out tackling him/being creepy.
His eyes......STOP IT YOU'RE SCARING ME. Dang it, they're so screwed up! (not anatomy, just the symbolization). Would his eyes really change like that? (Incredibly stupid question).
I felt so bad for Kenishi here, I suddenly started breathing weird. O.o My goodness, I get sucked into art. I can see myself just standing 10 feet away and observing this.
I don't want to know what happens next.....

Hm, well, when it came out of my fingertips I was thinking of Kenishi, but you know, it really does work for both of them. ^.^. Kenishi(or Shigarashi) doesn't remember his name because he's being(or has been, in Shigarashi's case) consumed by darkness and insanity that will rip away all of who he really was and turn him into a monster. This concept is inspired by a book I'm reading. :3
Lol, yea, seeing Kenishi going psycho is really sad. He'll probably be kept sane, but I'd still love to write a scene like this. Then when it's over, he can rush into Yoru's arms and bawl his poor little eyes out. Speaking of which, where in the world is that wolf? *taps foot* His best buddy's over here being ripped to shreds and turned into a monster by his psycho, demonic half-brother, you'd think he'd, y'know, notice something like that.... Tch, tch, tch...

Yea, Shigarashi is doing a mixed number of things here, more than a'meets the eye. Although, mostly, his pose is malicious. I can't really say the way he's standing over Kenishi is protective, probably because of the paw on his stomach and the paw pinning his arm down. But, maybe you could still get something out of the fact the only water falling on Kenishi is the water rolling off him. There has to be something to that, huh?
I know, right? His eyes creep me out, too. Yes, if I were to write him in as psycho, I'd have his eyes go black. Makes it more dramatic and really shows the change.
I thought you'd be pretty emotionally affected by this, since you love little Kenishi, and seeing him in such a weakened and broken state might've been pretty saddening. Huzzah! My art has an emotional effect on people! That's how you know it's good art! 
What happens next? Hm... The blackness will continue to creep across Kenishi's eyes and he'll be consumed and transformed, Yoru shows up, and tries to get Kenishi to remember who he is? Or, Yoru shows up at this moment and knocks Shigarashi away and starts shaking Kenishi, crying out to him while his blonde best buddy stares numbly at the sky in a frozen state of shock. Or Kenishi struggles to remember his life, finds a hidden reservoir of strength and suddenly pushes against Shigarashi, ridding the shadows from his eyes and knocking his assailant off.

It's a fun way to think of things: 2 different routes to take. 2 different ways to think of things. kjnfkjfnkk SO DEEP. D,X What book is it? Sounds interesting.
Something along the lines of this:
Zero:.....I need minions.
*Despicable Me minions show up*
Zero: *facepalm*
Yeah! Where da flip IS Yoru? *taps foot with you* He has to DEFEND little 'Nishi! Poor blondie is getting attacked! He must be off fighting Gatsuga or somethin'......Gatsuga's a jerk. A JERK.
I was leaning towards a malicious motive, though ironically Shigi is sheilding him from the rain. That's REALLY symbolic: Though he's super evil, he can't really help water from hitting Nishi. Subconsiously keeping Nishi dry! OH, SHIGARASHI, TURN GOOD AGAIN. D,X
Having his eyes change would be REALLY creepy. I wouldn't expect that, if you wouldn't have mentioned it. We'd be like, "HOOOOOOAAAA. WEIRD STUFF IS HAPPENING!!"

I think Yoru would show up, tackle Shigarashi off, help *crying* Kenishi up, Shigarashi would charge back, Yoru and Shigi would fight, AND WE ALL HAVE A NICE RUN-ON SENTENCE.

Despicable me? I've seen it. Had a hard time watching it; I got kind of bored. But it was okay. I've never seen you do a comic before!
I was thinking Yoru was off sulking somewhere or taking a nap. Lol, laziness. But, yea, maybe h'es off opening up a can of butt-whop on Gatsuga somewhere. And once you hear Gatsuga's story, you won't hate him as much. Though I still agree he's a jerk. He has much character development to go through, indeed.
Yea, it's kind of funny, he's doing good and doing bad. Though, Kenishi is already sobbing wet in his own blood, so I guess it's not much of a difference. Oh well. 
Lol, yea. It'd be pretty unexpected. If I were reading it I'd be like, "Ohhh, whoahohohoho, something is happening. Shigi's going psycho. YES! DRAMA!!! HUZZAH!!"
Shigarashi is indeed an awesome character. I'm glad 'y'like him, he could use some love(most definitely.) I really loved doing Kenishi's eyes as well, in fact, when doing the lineart I couldn't wait to finish to get to his eyes. I think it was the first thing I did, make that black transition. I didn't have the whites of his eyes be shadowed by Shigarashi like the rest of him, because I wanted to keep the focus of the drawing on his eyes, and keep the contrast between light and dark. The center of this drawing is his eyes, that's hat's happening. I really like that part as well. Kenishi's eyes, like usual though, gave me a crapton of trouble. I drew them tired/defeated, horrified/shocked a bunch of ties, but I finally settled on a mix of horror, numbness, and him looking kind of stunned. I originally drew his out open, but that didn't look right, so I drew him with his lips parted.
I pay a whole lot of attention to my characters' facial expressions. My art is about how they feel, after all. Their faces sort of just make my art. This art wouldn't be as impacting if they had blank faces. I also pay attention to poses as well, you know, because they also convey emotions.
Your art, I'll be honest, isn't very emotional, in my opinion. You don't really put much into your expressions, so it's never really had way too much of an impact on me. Sorry. 
I'd prefer it if Yoru and Kenishi ran away after that. Shigarashi is way too strong for them. Yoru is calculative; he dislikes fighting battles against opponents he knows he can't win against, and needs time to think of a strategy. Like in his fight with Quiviri. He'd run away and get Kenishi somewhere safe and comfort him and reassure him.

I've always wanted to do a comic, but I've never actually done one! I think of ideas every daym but I never get to them! About time I started one

I think Kenishi's eyes are downright frightening! You did a good job. The black sliding across his eyes is.....I remember it veeeery clearly, let's put it at that. XD His expression is scary, like, horror movie victim scary.
Well, at least you told me! Everyone always keeps it bottled up from me. ): I do think about expressions a lot, and how to do them/ how they work, but I've never put them in my art. (*&^%$#$%^&!!!!!!......) I guess my head hasn't clicked yet. Well, my next goal is for my next piece to show a character with good expression!
Heh, I guess that's how I'd like outcome to be with my story. In the many battle of my story, it's usually just raw fighting. No one really runs away, (now that you mention it, why don't any of my character run away?.....) They're smart in battle, so they don't have a reason to run. Plus, even if a character tried to run away, the persuer would just chase them and continue fighting. Zero would just sprint after you and kill you. Any of his group would do the same- cept a few people. This one guy wouldn't, cuz he's hopeless. XD
