Wow. I drew something innocent and cute. Where's the blood and violence and angst? WHY HAVE YOU ABANDONED ME? Wait, I've done cute stuff in the past...recent past...May 31st past....and it was cuddly...*scoots away into a corner*
Anyways, joking aside, I did this....yesterday? The day before yesterday? I don't know. Somewhere around there. It was just a silly idea I had, and I ended up making it into something awesome. I like it. It took me awhile, though. Two of my OC's, Dame(silver-and-blue) and Shigarashi(black-and-purple) as puppies. I've never really drawn the friendship they shared as kids, just the hatred and conflict between them as adults. Because it's fun to draw the angst between them. THE DRAMA OH MY GOSH YES.
Unlike most of my art, there isn't some sort of elaborate back story, symbolism, or metaphor behind this. It's just something that's totally open for interpretation. I thought it'd be better to let this one speak for itself.
Even I have no clue what extremely disturbing thing Shigarashi is whispering in Dam'es ear. Anybody who wants to make something up can
.Also, this drawing was an excuse to edit Dame's design. He needed facial markings. He just did. So I settled for a straight lightning bolt-type thing. Since Dame reminds me of lightning, and I always seem to associate him with straight lines and, well, angular things. Probably because of his rectangular eyes. Yay.
So, what do you guys think?

Dame: Isn't it supposed to be a flower?
Shigi: I'm quite certain it's a rock.
Dame: Do you even know anything about romance?
Shigi: Of course! I saw a girl smack a guy upside the head with a big rock yesterday! That's gotta mean she likes him, right?
Dame: So, I give her the rock so she can hit me in the face with it?
Shigi: Well, maybe you can skip the 'getting-hit-in the-face' part.
Dame: Alright, you seem to know what you're talking about! I'll give it a try!
Shigi: Good luck!

Dame: Hey, uh....Chikara?
Chikara: Oh, hi Dame! What's up?
Dame: I...uh...got this rock for you. *drops a rock at her paws*
Chikara: *looks down* Oh...A....rock...
Dame: Uh-huh! *grins and nods* You like it?
Chikara: .....Well... it's pretty. And shiny.
Dame: Yea.... She doesn't sound so enthusiastic.....Darn it! Why do Shigarashi's plans never work? Why?
Dame: I....spent a few hours by the creek digging around for it.
Chikara: Really? Is that why you look so dirtied up?
Dame: Yup! Heh...
Chikara: Thanks, Dame. You're sweet. *hug*

-And then Chikara kept that rock in her den for a very, very long time.-
-the next day-
Shigi: Hey, Dame! How'd it go?
Dame: I can't believe your plan actually worked.
Shigi: WHAT? You doubted me?
Dame: Just for a moment.
Shigi: Pfft! Well, I have a new idea for you!
Dame: What is it?
Shigi: A tree. Give her a tree.

And yes, I whacked those poor, sweet, innocent, wolfeh pups with sticks. DUH. Dame thinking about girls and Shigi's being difficult as well! Proper punishment, I DO SAY.
.......and what would be even MORE epic, would be if you turned that into a comic, as well as the actual giving of the tree. I would laughing for days. So would Shigi. And so would-
Eh, I'd probably stalk Shigarashi if I were a Shingetsu wolf, much to his worry....
By the way, I had a super random yet awesome idea. Since I was thinking how cool it would be to be a Shingetsu wolf, the idea POOFED in mah head. You should draw us as Shingetsu wolves, and I can draw us as Heroes from my story!

I took that quiz a few days ago, and it was dumb....I got totally inaccurate animals...I had a hard time answering those questions. I'm just...not the kind of person....that can fit myself to those options very well....Because my personality contradicts itself...
But I can see myself as a cat. A domesticated house cat. I think you can see why. ^.^. But I couldn't say because every cat has their own personality. I just really see me as a cat, though

I can totally see the connection between Nishi and Shigi now that you mention it- it's just what happened that completely changes him. Real sad story.... ;_; But really ironic, since Nishi ends up with Yoru.
