Description
A loud chattering rang through the air, no words recognizable in the overly crowded field. Pokemon of all species, all types, and all walks of life had gathered, but they were the same in one respect: Each and every creature present was a member of Team Azul.
          A large stump sat at the head of the field, the only object that could serve as a raised platform. A small Eevee carefully jumped onto the deceased log and cleared her throat loudly, trying to get the attention of the crowd.
          Of course, no one heard her.
          “E-excuse me,” she said a little louder, “Could I have everyone’s attention?”
          A Zigzagoon standing behind the stump looked up at her and said “Stop being so polite, Olive. “
          Another Eevee, this one with fur as white as snow, stepped up as well. “Zoe’s right. This is a crisis, remember?”
          “OK, Zan, you guys win.” Olive opened her mouth wider and called “I would like if everyone could listen!!!”
          “That’s no way to get a crowd to keep quiet.”
          Shadows raised up beside Zan, and then melted away to reveal yet another abnormally colored Eevee, with cloudy gray fur.
         “Well then,” said Olive curtly, “What’s your idea, Blackie?”
         “Move it, and I’ll show you.” Blackie jumped onto the stump and pushed Olive aside. “Hey!”
         “HEY EVERYONE, SHUT UP ALREADY!!!!”
          The crowd fell silent.
          “Thank you, Blackie. Now may I have my spot back?” Olive gently shoved Blackie away from center stage. She turned to the hushed group before her.
          “Team Azul!” She called, “You know why I’ve gathered you here today.”
          “Yeah, we know why!” Shouted Aviia, a Mawile. “It’s ‘cause we’re getting picked off by our own leader!”
          “Rita and Fang got killed for no reason!” A Seviper named Venom hissed, “I live in Wild Plains too! What if that’d been me?”
          Aphrodite flapped her glittering wings angrily. “Thor was our family! And he was murdered because YOU told him to stand guard!”
          Olive winced at the Legendary bird’s remark. “I had no idea what kind of force we were dealing with! And I still don’t.” She looked around the field packed with Pokemon. “That’s why I called you all here.”
          The Eevee looked at her feet. What she was about to say would weaken her greatly, but she couldn’t bear to watch her team suffer because of her nearsightedness.
          “It appears that Pokemon in this area are all in danger. It’s not just this team. Ekans of Team Meanies was also murdered.”
          Her words were met with several gasps of shock. Most of the Pokemon here had not known this fact.
          “So I beg of you. Please, leave this place. Go back to where you once lived. Just go, so you can be safe.”
          Olive took a deep breath.
          “You are all hereby released.”
          Every Pokemon in sight stood there for a moment with awestruck expressions. Then, one by one, they began to disperse. Olive stared at them sadly, knowing that she may not see these Pokemon again.
          Finally, after a painful while, the field was empty. Except for-
          “Despair…”
          “I want to stay, Olive.” Despair told her. “I have to avenge Misfortune.”
          Olive was aghast. “B-but Despair! Absols could be at the greatest risk, looking at what happened to your mate. You’ll be putting yourself and your daughter in terrible danger by staying here!”
          “But what if it’s not just here, Olive? Listen, I can sense disasters and the air all around me hangs heavy with foreboding. We may not be fully protected anywhere.”
          He nodded. “Trauma and I will be safest here. I still have faith in the team.”
          “You’re making a huge mistake.” Olive shook her head. “But if you want to stay that badly….”
          “One more thing,” Despair added, “Can Trauma stay in the base with you? The Friend Areas seem a bit open.”

          Wearily trying to take in what she had just done, Olive walked with Trauma to the base. Despite being half Olive’s age, Trauma was easily over twice her size. She lifted a paw and gently pushed to two-way door open.
          “I’ll make another bed with the extra hay. You can sleep there.” said Olive. Trauma nodded.
          The Eevee padded over to a low cupboard to get the material necessary to make a bed.
          “Olive?”
          She turned to look at Trauma.
          “Will… will Papa be all right?” the young Absol said. There was the slightest hint of the sadness she was holding in in her voice, but it shone clearly in her bright red eyes. “If what you said was true, about Absols being in danger and everything… I don’t want to lose him like I did Mama.”
          Olive stared at Trauma for a moment. Then she nodded. “Yes. Your father is a strong and capable Pokemon. I think he’ll be OK.”
          “Really? Thanks, Olive!” Trauma smiled.
          Olive smiled too, but it was forced, and inside she was wracked with guilt.
          For what she had said was a lie.

          “Olive.”
          “Olive, wake up!”
          Olive was waken by someone shaking her. She opened her eyes and saw Sky standing over her, his face only a foot from hers. “Sky!” she cried in surprise, “What are you doing?”
          Sky quickly stepped away and blushed. “S-sorry.” He said, embarrassed. “But there’s something you need to see! It’s unbelievable!”
          “All right, all right! I’m up!” She steadied herself and followed Sky out the door while Trauma groggily yawned.
          Outside, it was dark. Like middle-of-the-night dark. Olive would’ve guessed that it was around 3 a.m.
          But it wasn’t too dark to see what Sky was talking about. And hear him.
          “Olive, what’s going on? Why was I under the ground? Where’s my sister?
          No way.
          “Koru?!”
