I was asked a few times how to do the 'glow' effect on some of my works and here it is.The secret is not the 'glow' layer, but the flat coloured one that lays under it. (Remember that is the one on bottom that has the power in the relationship.
)When dealing with spots simply draw a circle around the spot, leaving the center without the 'glow' effect.
Edgarallan looks like he needs the sleep, poor dear.

I've been asking random people who have artwork that seems to 'glow', but they either don't reply, or aren't online xD

I have a question... if your fill inside your glow area a separate layer under the glow?

The glow is on top of the lineart and the base colour is under it.
If the colour were on the same layer as the glow, either the lineart wound't be shown at all or it would be on top of everything.

hello dude, there is something i quite didnt get :s
1. you got layers, in bottom background, in middle lineart, and on top glow layer.
2. then you lower the density of ur airbrush.
3. then i didnt get how you proceeded :/

You pick the airbrush and, in the glow layer, you try to follow the lineart and make the glow even.
