Hey! Great design. I've been looking for neat good-looking journal but haven't found anything pleasing. This is not exactly what I was looking for (I wanted something darker, where black prevails) but is really nice. I want to use it but I have a doubt: What does 'do not alter any of the coding or image' means? I mean, I understand I'm allowed to change anything, but can I add something else? Or perhaps am I allowed to change little things like the color of the links?
I'll be quite grateful if you reply to this message. Thanks a lot in advanced.

using your nice journal css, and im having one very minor problem. at the very bottom of my journals the # comments & Previous Journal Entries line is not placed on the dark line at the bottom..
how can i fix this?

I just wanted to let you know that we're using this CSS for our club... I'm not adding it to our favourites because we collect our members works instead of submitting it to our gallery so the CSS really wouldn't fit in our favourites, but you are given credit at the bottom of our front-page journal.
Thanks for making this, it's very sleek and easy on the eyes.

the prev journal and commets links wont be there if its in the actual journal page, but when its viewed on your main profile ( username.deviantart.com ) it will show those 2 links, and when its in the journal section of your profile ( username.deviantart.com/journal ) then it will only show the comments link

Awesome! There are a lot of CSS layouts that are too crowded with images and designs and colors that make the journal too hard to read. The easy-on-the-eyes color and open layout great.
This'll definitely be my new journal.

may i ask though, if i were to post a free css how can i make it that people can download it?

you put the code (HTML & CSS) into a .txt document, and put it into a .zip folder, put pictures in there aswell, if you delete the pictures off your image-hosting account often.
then go to submit deviation , and choose a category for it to go in, then submit the .zip document, and when its gone through, you will need to submit a preview image (for a css layout, id put a image of what the css looks like with text and all)
and press submit, now when its finsihed, you go onto the deviation, and click download, and there will be the .zip folder you made and submitted, even with all the stuff you had in it =]

p.s. you can also put the stuff in a .rar folder, but as far as i know, the only people who can extract and/or open them are people with winRAR, so i recommend you put them into a .zip format
