This is a Stylish/Greasemonkey script.Grab the CSS here: [link]

This script ought to be revived, DA sorely needs to revamp their entire notes system, not just minor changes years apart. I think dAmail, an actual mail interface linked to DA's notes would be great, but in lack of that, this script, updated to work with the newest DA version, would suffice. PLEASE, can you update it? I know it will be immensely popular until DA officially integrates it or a version of it.

Seems I didn't look properly at this before writing, it's not a script to make DA's notes system better, but it was meant to make an earlier version of Gmail look like DA. Still, my comment stands, and hopefully the owner of the account, a staff member, will notice. Who knows, it might happen one day.

A simple search function in the notes would be enough, they already did it for favorites. Wouldn't hurt to revamp the "manage members" function in groups either, takes forever to find a person among thousands to change their status (i.e. kicking or promoting). They only let you see 100 at a time, and each time you do a status change on someone the list scrolls all the way to the top again.

Aha, well more tools to handle the "big data" that can accumulate for each of us, would be welcomed I guess -- repetitive tasks are usually signs of an inadequate user face, yes. Searching, listings, statistics, groups & automation are words that come to mind -- power tools.
Personally I would enjoy receiving e-mail notifications though, having it as an option/setting would be nice. I suspect many dA members are inactive and have forgotten all about this site -- they would probably appreciate seeing feedback on their work on e-mail and be reminded again?

i just installed it and the logo didnt change and its acting weird. the theme didnt really change it just put the green as an outline. =S

I still see the Google logo and a white line across the whole screen from the logo to the Pref. and address options.

The logo part is easily fixed by [link]
The white line, though is irritating. Also, when you read your email everything in the body of the mail is as the original.
gmail is updated way too often for this to stay good looking long enough.

I love these styles! I just noticed that the font goes white on the "contacts" when I view them individually, and since the background is also white it makes it seem to disappear. Np if you're no longer updating. Thanks

Wow, very sexy, I like it! One small suggestion if you ever get around to it; maybe you could make the read mail a different shade in the background from the new email. Obviously nothing you should worry about too much though. 5-star work!

I have been looking at your stuff since shortly after I joined (the 1st thing I was lokin 4 was wallpapers). As far as I remember I have never posted on any of it though.
That said, I realy think you should consider making these things cross platform compatable, I realize u obviously loathe IE so this probably is a pointless note but hey, can't hurt 2 voice it.

you need to install the Stylish addon for Firefox. Then just click the link. It's very easy.
