*EDIT* Due to the mass hysteria caused by the presence of a gun, I feel the need to explain myself. I'm fully aware the PPGs would never use a gun, seriously, I couldn't agree more, but let's try to think outside the box for a second, k? In my little world, let's just say something catastrophic happens and they lose their memories and forget about their powers. All they know is that they're stuck in hell with no knowledgeable means to defend themselves. So Buttercup, being the badass that she is, would be the one taking charge, if you know what I mean. Put yourself in that situation and then I think you'd understand. This is actually a fic I'm planning on writting, which is why it has so much behind it. *END EDIT*First in a series. Just kind of a pencil thing I did for fun last night on the eve of my final. The background is for crap, but the buildings are supposed to be lopsided because well, shit has gone down and stuff. This is what happens when one is obsessed with PPG while currently reading the novelization for Resident Evil 0 (because I'm just that awesome).
If I was in charge of writting Speed Demon, it would have been much different.

Hey guys, survival's is survival. Personally, if HIM was commin at me with an army of zombies ahead of him, I would unload the effing shotgun on those mothereffers, hoping to hit HIM in the process, mind you, then makw a Shaun of the Dead move, and bust my ass the Eff outta there. Then drawing from years of watching Supernatural and Buffy, would arm myself with some seriously ridiculous amounts of rock salt, goofer dust, and iron roads to hit things with, then wait for some miracle to happen. Yes, Ladies and Gents, in a Post-Apocalyptic World run by a cross-dressing demon ANYTHING GOES!

This has sorta moved on from a usual PPG style and went into a creative original style for yourself. Why, I would've never guessed those were the PPGs(minus their hair styles) had you not pointed it out, but in my world, that's a good thing.
And lay off her about using guns to kill zombies. Gunshots to the head seem to be the only things that can bring those monsters down.

See that's what I was thinking when I did it. That's the only thing that really makes sense. If it wasn't gunshots to the head... then it just wouldn't be zombies.
And yes, it was my intention to be different, so that it didn't SCREAM PPG. I wanted to be subtle, and I also wanted the picture to be able to stand alone as not fanart if it needed to.
Guns zombies, zombies guns. They sort of go together. I don't really watch PPG, so can't really comment I guess. I am however a big fan of anything with zombies in it.
Still cool drawing. That would be one of the Kilashnakov (however you spell it) range right? One of the 47s?

Ahhhh Buttercup's gone Uma Thurman on our asses! Even her sisters are intimidated. Mighty striking- I would've loved to see THIS version of the episode.
Dun worry about the buildings- in the end they are all just big chunky blocks of glass and cement, and what you've done carries that visual message through just fine.
