My favorite is the "expressions" and "types" part of the tutorial... Now I know what my cat is thinking, for one, and I know what general shape I should use for animals' ears in the future! Thanks for posting this!

Oh hell yeah, I can only imagine how much it helps. I just wish my cats would sit still long enough for me to study them... (yeah I know you can't tell a cat what to do. LOST CAUSE.)
This kind of makes me want to do a couple "expression" practices with my one cat, nonetheless... It would be a fantastic endeavor with HILARIOUS results. She doesn't have one-of-a-kind distinct markings, but she's long-haired cat, predominately black, with a white chin and "one eyebrow"--whiskers coming only from one brow ridge... I think it's her right eyebrow...
I always refer to her as "Mad Cat", or "Muffin Face." Her "indian" name is Raging White Chin (as opposed to the usual "Sitting Bull"). Her expressions realistically are so animated that it would be really fun to replicate artistically.... HMMMM I have a feeling that this tutorial may come handy, indeed...

xD Haw! Indeed. We have a fuzzy kitty my husband named Kiyori. She's a big puddle of fluff. Seriously, when she lays on her tummy, it looks like a melted kitty! x_X
