This is how you Delete a Deviantart Group. You have to be the founder to delete it.I used my friends account because she didn't know how to delete her group.

It sometimes takes a while to close. How long has it been since you closed it?
Also, did you delete the message you (should have) got(ten) when you closed it?

Yeah It can take a while to delete as the people who run DA have to approve of it or something. Just wait for a bit and see if it closes. If not then, normally I would say to try and cancel the request to delete and try again, but if you deleted the notification that should have come when you deleted the group then that wont work (as you need that to cancel it). But yeah, I'd wait a few hours before checking again.

It may not work... but (if you're on safari, not the app) you can scroll to the bottom and click "change to desktop site" or something along those lines. That's what I found as best (because the phone interface sucks).

Ok my situation is... I have deleted my group (because I wanted to make a new one) but it still shows up on my profile!
if I click it it says "this page does not exist" but why is it's name still above my new groups name?

Hm. I'm not sure why it's not doing that. Are you the founder-founder or did someone else found the group and give it to you? That might be why. It not, maybe try to add a co-founder and give them permission to accept it, to see that works.

It does take time to be deleted/closed. The DA staff is down a lot of members so It could take a few days or weeks to be deleted. (Sorry for the late reply)

I did the same thing, but then a Correspodence message showed up, with a button aying "Withdraw" and I pressed on that...And a big red X showed up.
