This is how you Delete a Deviantart Group. You have to be the founder to delete it.I used my friends account because she didn't know how to delete her group.

How long does it take for them to close the group name?

That depends on the group. It could take a long time, if it takes more than a day, cancel the close and then re close it again, see if that helps ^^

uhhmm well we got a problem with our group :$ My friend is founder, but deactivated her account and started a new one. I'm co-founder though. Is it still possible to end the group? (she can't do anything on her deactivated account)

Sadly, no. You have to be founder of the group to delete it. But maybe if you note DA itself it will take the group down, or something. I'll try to find a way to delete it without the founder but I'm not sure if there is a way to do so, Sorry!

Yeah that would be good, but i would still note the DA itself that the founder is deative and ask if they can delete the group. If not, I'm looking into a way to delete it now.

That is very helpful, but when i pressed close group it gave me a email, i pressed the close button but its still there, IT NEVER GOES AWAY, even if i repeate these steps i come to a blue page.... Can anyone help me?

Hm I've never had that happen. Maybe it's the internet or something? If you have more than one computer maybe try to delete the group on a different computer with permission of course ^^ If that doesn't work then i'm not sure what to do.
