I never do fan art.. but I was kinda borded and wanted something to paint.this is Mint.. a charachter from an old Squaresoft game for PS1 called Threads of Fate. I included both the sketch and the painted sketch.
Not the best game ever made but I always liked her and the other main character's design. Mainly b/c they both have big feet... the same way I draw my characters^^
nothing serious but enjoy anyway

OMFG BEST GAME EVER.
I can't believe they didn't make a blasted sequel ><...and later on..a sequel to the inferior Brave Fencer Musashi.
You have no idea how many times I've e-mailed them XD. There's even a petition online for a Rue/Mint sequel to Threads of Fate.

you know i was never a huge fan of the game itself... but I LOVED the characters so I played it (well until my sister stole it from me) ^_^

no I only spent a couple of hours maybe... there's no background or anything and the image itself is realatively small so things like this one usally go really quickly. This is all from my head... well the character design itself is from the game of course.. I just looked at the insert for pictures of Mint for her costume and whatnot. I only usue reference now for really complicated poses and backgrounds. Once you've drawn something enough times you don't need reference anymore ^_^

i remember this game. a demo came packaged with one of the final fantasy games.
the way you colored this makes it look like concept art from the game. it's got a nice loose feeling to it, as if you were working out the color scheme as you went along.
