HAIL TO THE CHIEF!After months of playing Halo Reach, I've finally been able to recreate Master Chief.
Since the game takes place during the Fall of Reach, the Chief would be wearing his Mark V helmet
To do this you need the Mark V helmet, the Mark V shoulder pieces, and the golden visor. To unlock all these you'll need to be at least a Brigadier, once you reach that rank you should have more than enough credits for the armor pieces (provided you haven't excessively spent your credits on other things)
I'd like to see the Chief in action with a combat knife (He'd probably be like Jason Voorhees or something), and I'd like to hear what kind of witty remark Cortana would say in response to it.

I can't help but think of Caboose because of the Mk. 5 helmet... Especially since Chief wore it first...

great now I have cabooses voice in my head every time I play one of the original trilogy games. Just imagine how fucked humanity would be if instead of the master chief they got to deal with caboose.

I like it, but make the knees default. If you look in the anniversary, Default. But I do get that in the original it looks like those knees, because the designing wasnt as advanced as now.

Im at warrant officer grade 2, given the fact that warrant officer ranks are the hardest to surpass, its going to take me a while, i hope to eventually be able to create master chief in reach as well. This pic is pretty awesome

Change the knees to the grenadier armor and it will almost be an exact replica.. I have this as well but with the MK.VI

I love this look! If people feel that Reach isn't a 'proper' Halo game, then surely being able to impersonate The Master Chief surely cancels such thoughts out?!

true he was wearing a mark v in halo combat evolved but then he used a mark vi so thats why you put him a mark so you stay in the halo timeline

My next rank is Brigadier, so I decided to recreate the Chief's armor. This only thing different from this is the knee guards. Both shoulders, helmet, visor, and knee gaurds is going to cost 795,000 cR. I'm going to need a bigger gun.

Get out! It's no wonder so many people are credit farmers, but Bungie's been cracking down on them. Anyone who credit farms gets a temporary credit ban (no matter what you play or how well you don't earn any credits for about two weeks). I've already worn out two copies of Halo Reach to get where I am, I'm trying to take it easy on this one, because I don't think Bungie will send me a replacement this time and even used copies of this game are expensive. I got a used copy of Saw: The Game today and it was about $30. Used and that game is two years old.
