"GYAAGH!"Everybody run! It's the Meta!"
After months of playing Halo Reach I've been able to recreate the Meta, the antagonist of the Red vs Blue Recollections trilogy.

The Meta, formerly known as Agent Maine, was a rogue Freelancer agent with goals to obtain armor enhancements and artificial intelligence to increase his power.
At the end of the Recollections Trilogy, after a fierce battle with the Red and Blue Blood Gultch soldiers he fell to his death.
Since the next season of Red vs Blue is apparently going to take place in Epsilon's memory world, it is possible that he may return along with the other villains the Red and Blue soldiers have fought over the years.
Since his primary weapon (The Brute Shot) didn't return in Halo Reach I opted for the Concussion Rifle since it's the closest we're going to get.
None of the armor permutations in Reach are exactly the same as they were in Halo 3 so I had to improvise here. For the left shoulder I gave him a grenadier, for his right shoulder I did commando, I used my Multi-Threat for the Chest Piece, visor color is gold, and for the helmet I opted for Emile's simply because I thought it looked cool. (EVA was never really one of my favorites)

let's hope we can get rvb characters voices in firefight on halo 4 (if they have firefight)
though the meta would probably only speak in growls... and very shrt growly words... if he gets a head-shot he'd make a very scary laugh...

i think the Fuel Rod Gun would be better and EVA is awsome and thats not the correct chest and his left shoulder is in correct

The META IS DEAD! Season 9 is taking place years before RvB even took place!!! The Meta has been shot, stabbed, crushed, ran over, blown up, shot in the throat, and yanked off the edge of a 3 mile high cliff! Even with all of his power, when he was being dragged towards the cliff-edge, when the capture unit holding Tex fell off, he lost all of his power! At that split second, he was turned back into his original state, even though he couldn't talk, he was as vulnerable if he didn't have any power to begin with!!!

He's alive in all of our hearts.... and our Nightmares, so Epsilon's world is not safe.

I think Meta sirvived the fall because even with all those abilitys he still would have died from tucker stabbing him through the heart. He was also as hit by a lot of bone crushing blows from his fight with Tex and it didn't even phase him. Plus all the UNSC has to conferme Meta's death is a Bute Shot and the reds and blues word.

Tucker didn't stab him through the heart, number 1. And, all of those "bone crushing" blows from Tex were softened be the armor!! DUH! I know way more about the Meta, RvB, and Project Freelancer than you. Don't believe me? Ask my ANY question about any of them.

OK. The Meta is dead. BUT, Season 9 is taking place before he became the Meta! You gotta understand that! It's back when York and South and Tex are all still alive!

It was confermed that Meta might still be alive because in the trailer for season nine it was mentioned that Meta fell off a cliff after being shot in the throte.

Yes but that was a flashback. Washington was in his armor from the Halo 2 engine, and York was still alive.

I know this is like almost a year since you guys did this buts he is dead for now season ten is out showing more of the back story and what not he very well could come back we never know i know ***** did and so did *** but poor lopez was ***** but you still see him but if you guys are watch season ten then i guess you already know the blanked out parts.

Emile's helmet (EVA [C] ) is DEFINITELY the Meta's style. nice work on the armor set up, given his preferance with the Brute Shot, the grenade belt works perfectly

too true! the meta didnt spend all that time growing power to be defeated by water. as we know spartan suits can survive the vacuum of space so water should be even easier.

fail. The meta did not have a carving on his helmet, he couldn't focus to carve.

I just thought it made him look scarier. And I'm sure Rooster Teeth could come up with some weird explanation for it, like that bomb that sent the reds and blues into the future.

but it turns out that they weren't sent into the future, just that they thought they were. It was revealed in Reconstruction when Donut was making his report to that guy on the screen(I forget what he was).
And the Meta is dead, sadly. They confirmed it at the end of Revelation when the men came to check it up.

I'm aware that the Meta died. I said so in my description, but the next season is to take place in the memory world, so it's quite possible that anyone from the past will return. And Donut didn't return in reconstruction, it was recreation. And I know they probably weren't sent into the future (that's ridiculous), but that still doesn't explain what happened to Church.

The next season isn't going to take place in the memory world, they haven't confirmed that.
My theory is they're going to try to find a way to get Church back or they'll go into the backstory of Sarge.

In Revelation they said Epsilon Church and Tex were stuck in the Epsilon unit, and the Recovery teams threw it in storage because it's "Dead as a doornail". Epsilon Church said he was going to wait until he finds her. I'm sure they aren't just going to replay the entire Blood Gulch Chronicles in Halo Reach, but Church is the closest thing to a protagonist this show has so odds are it will be what he's going through.
All we can do is speculate at this moment. The only thing we can safely assume is that it will be made using Halo Reach.

I can't wait to see what they do with it since they have better Forge and better Armor adjustment. Plus I want to see how they do with crappy Hemorrhage. Sorry but Hemorrhage sucks compared to Blood Gulch and Coagulation, they are really bad remakes, as is Asylum.
