I feel so lucky that both my parents are obnoxiously supportive of my art. The rest of my family are interested, but are very labor-work oriented so it's a bit of a discussion when I talk about my work, but gosh. I wish I could share my good experiences with everyone else, because everyone deserves to feel supported.

Ha! My father is similar, he is very demanding.
For example, when I went to high school:
- How was your exam?
- Well, take 9 points.
- Only 9? Why do not you get 10?
- I did my best...
- No, you did not. But well. (He retired)
- .... Ha! The fool thinks that deceives me, is very happy for me. That's his way of saying that I can always do better. Too bad it's a very proud person.
But my father always support me in what I did, I hope your father understands and do the same.

This and the "you have nothing to do but study, so study!" are some of my greateat frustrations in my relationship with my parents. Seems like drawing is just a cute yet meaningless hobby as long as I don't get money out of it. CAN'T THEY SEE PRATICE IS THE BEST WAY TO GET MY ART WORTH ANYTHING?! OTL
