Kaneyoshi's Story (original comic): [link]

Err.. this is one of my o.c.'s :3.
His hair design was somewhat based upon my other o.c., Yuugata Ketsueki (no, they are not related). Also their personalities contrast against each other. Anyways...

[Kaneyoshi being his first name, also called Kane at times]

Height: 5'6"

Likes: calligraphy, apples, snow
Dislikes: extremely warm weather, abuse to children (past experiences)

Attitude:
People know him to be the kind of person who is really enthusiastic and happy, although, during battle, he is serious. From time to time he may seem to be joking around during a fight but what he does then, does not reflect on his concentration. Not all of the people who surround him in his everyday live know that his veil of happiness isn’t always true.

Relationships (excluding friends):
deceased family, although has one aunt in the occupation as a geisha (mother's side), and a very unstable relationship with his lover back in the village he grew up in

Weapons:
- daishou
It refers to a katana being accompanied by a wakizashi. These two swords of his have no names.

- ninja-like sword [named the Kazurugi - made from the words kaze (wind) and tsurugi (sword)]
It seems strange for someone of his status—a samurai—to be in possession of such a sword. Although he values it so, he does not use it entirely regularly. This sword is only used when it comes to his last option, or if it is a very special opponent he is up against.

Brief history:
Born in a village what seemed isolated from the rest of feudal Japan, he was raised by his father as a child of filth, being the youngest child in the family. His mother had died on the day he was born, in which case, he did not get the chance to know her. His two older brothers and sister had pity for the poor thing, however his father did not. Kaneyoshi was blamed for the death of his mother and was put up against great pain from abuse and misunderstanding as he grew up. As time passed by in the village, his siblings always became ill, and compared to him were as weak as a leaves ripping in half. And one by one they died.

At eight years, Kaneyoshi was the only child that was able to continue the family bloodline. Seeing this, his father had changed views upon the boy and sought for his trust, hoping to get the boy to believe that he finally loved him, hoping for him to continue the family line. But obviously, he didn’t care much for the child. More intelligent than his father thought he was, Kaneyoshi declined the “offer of love”. Taking his chances, he left the village a year later, leaving his father to die in his later years.

On the same year he left, he found himself to be accepted into another village, far from where he was born. All the people of the new village he was exposed to knew nothing of the place he had lived for nine years because of its isolation. Kaneyoshi knew that it was his chance to start a new life, to start a new leaf, without having painful memories mauling at his mind.

He was reminded of those memories more constantly when he was 15 from the meeting of a female that would soon later become his lover in a few years. She gave him Kazurugi as a token of her gratitude for his kindess to her.

As much as he can, he tries to hide the pain with smiles and only a few people are able to see passed the barrier.
