John Egbert, from Homestuck , in the style of the webcomic Order of the Stick. Made in Inkscape.

Yes indeedy, Kd7 is branching out. This is John, in his first outfit (and with his first weapon). I'm never sure how much of the white is symbolic, and how much is white, and how much is laziness. So I colored his skin but not his clothes or hammer.

Speaking of which, please don't complain about said hammer. I admit to not trying very hard, but I didn't find any canonical claw hammers in OOTS, so I had to improvise. And you can tell what it's supposed to be, yes?

I think I did a fairly good job on the Ghost Slime logo. And the hair was no problem at all, this time. We'll see if I still think that once I start getting into pale-haired characters. I'm not sure about that mouth, though...

John's pose, here, is inspired by this , although I obviously didn't copy it.

For the record, I do plan to do the other kids and the trolls, as well as at least some of the kids' later outfits. I'm not sure about the Guardians, but I've got a couple of plans involving Exiles.
