bah! as if, here at uni we have an anime society, i poked my nose into one of there thigns, and they insist on watching subs with japanese voice ators, i were like 'why' they said 'to get hte proper story'
'Purest anal faces' i told them, flatuated and walked out. If it wernt for dubs we wouldnt have such titans of voice as Spike Spencer, Tiffany Grant, Hilary Haag and Vic Magnogna

I think you are too hard on yourself, it looks very good. I'm more of a grown Goku fan, but that doesn't take away from the fact that you did well on this drawing.

to me there's always been 2 distint types of anime the more serious story based ones, and the much more any old shite to keep the kids busy ones.... saddly too many of the latter have made it too popular, with the result that some people (such as myself) were led to the conclusion that anime sucks, which it dosnt.... yeah i know db et al has a story line, im well aware of the ledgendary amount of time it takes for a db story to actully develop... but to me, it'll always bee onea the naff animes that put me off for soooooo long....

well, i dont know about you, but the only anime i watch is uncut in japanese, for me thats the only anime there is, in japanese it cant get crap, its all untouched, try downloading a dbz movie in japanese and see how much better it is

i tend to go for dubed, mostly cause 1) i dont speak japenese, and 2) i HATE subtitles.... oh that and some of the dubbing companies (ADV for example) have better voice artists than the origanals, and having watched the subs on a couple, change nothing.... a good example is Nadesico.... the japenese voice artists on that show are soooo dull n lifeless....

ah but yet a god example of my point is the dubbed episodes of the anime One Piece being shown, One Piece is my favourite anime in the world at the moment and is the most popular in japan too, next to naruto, but the dubbers have picked totally inappropriate voices and totally gutted the storylines to apoint where it is not worth even watching, so real fans get to go and see the uncut version at [link]

there's always gonna shite ones (as long as manga keeps peddling it's wares at any rate....) and dubbing is always gonna change the experiance... but that isnt always for the worst and frankly.. so what.....
