Ill be doing these little by little . I know this kid of tutorial have been done over and over again but I just wanted to have my own one for personal resource, so why not share it? .For now , here some basic terms and info about shading!
Next one ill talk about how it is applied to to more complex figures like ponies , ferals or humans ... and some photoshop/sai/manga studio tips :3

Yay! I'm so happy, your shading is the best, so tutorials from you on the subject are worth their weight in gold! I've always had a lot of trouble implementing second light sources for backlighting/3 point lighting, and I've never been good at adding reflected light. I'm going to have to try this out some when I finish my current project! I'm really looking forward to the next episode to see your tips for applying shading to complex figures!
