Here's my latest hyperrealistic pencil drawing. A3 size as usual. It's called Ice bucket and was inspired by a photograph by the amazing Shannon Haughton Gill. Hope you like it.Related content

Thank you Keith. I was dragged kicking and screaming into digital art. I used to work with acrylics. A few of my pieces are a combo. I scanned in the traditionally painted face/body and then painted the background in Photoshop. Simply a time saver in the world of "I want it tomorrow." Keep up the great work! I miss pencils!

Hi Keith
Well done on capturing the realism of the water and reflections. If I may make an observation, I would recommend blending the sides of the top half of head. This will add depth of field and emphasize the features such as the eyes and nose.

Well noticed Ruan and thanks for taking the time to make this extremely valued comment. I should have waited until I was totally happy with the finished drawing before posting. I actually blended the head after posting this version and it now looks more like the top of the shoulders. I'm learning to be more patient before posting! Great to see you here on and thanks again.
