Description
This was originally a mermaid, then got changed to something like this image, under the title Masquerade. I did some more work on it, and at a friend's suggestion, renamed it Aganippe after a Greek naiad who occasionally appeared as a winged black horse. The name Aganippe literally translates to : Gentle Horse. I decided to just re-submit the image.The image is oil on canvas
