This is my BIGGEST project at the moment ><and i've run out of funds so it's on pause....
looks like it won't be ready in time for comicon this year ><
boo.
but sometime or another it will be completed and i will be a Spartan!!! XD

I need to make the upper armor, but looks so hard...think you can do a tutorial on that? I can make every thing else.

aish >< idk. i've only made the leg pieces and funny because today i actually threw them all away because they were old and i think i can do better now. ill start with the chest piece this time...but i can't promise it will come quickly :\ the armor takes a lot of time...
and foam looks better than cardboard, and you can do more with it. cardboard is definitely easier though TT__TT

hahah yeah i know how that goes. I have seen some pretty awesome cardboard Master Chiefs. Hopefully now i can make better armor giving me a better costume and you guys better tutorials :] I'll try to get a chest one up soon

when you put them in the oven to dry the patch faster, did you just put them in or did you have it set at a temperature? spartan armor is going to be my last project for Dragon Con next year, but it never hurts to plan ahead v:

an extremely low temp. if it's too hot or you leave them in for too long the hot glue will remelt so you have to be extremely careful.
