Description
This is a sample of what my color blending experiments are. Just wanted to load this and let everyone see what I'm doing with this. I'll move this into scraps soon. I've rearranged this so someone can actually read my notes. I've just been writing in pencil next to the color experiment. I do six on a page, that counts for one experiment. I have done 6 of these now, hopefully can achieve the blends I want to do soon for my master studies. I have uploaded scans of the pieces I'm studying in my scraps.Related content

yeah, I just started to paint with watercolors and I'm discovering those ways of painting. I love watercolors ^^
Earlier, for few years I was painting with poster colors but its so diffrent way of paint o_O
and the most funny thing is that a year earlier I fought that watercolors and postercolors are the same

I am so glad you are enjoying watercolors. They are definately different than postercolors, but poster colors can be fun too!

hey, neat. That gives me some ideas how to work with watercolor, because sadly, my techniques are very limited and uncontrolled still.
Especially #5 tickles me... it looks like clouds are waves - something I'd love to paint if it wasn't so hard to do for me!

This is why I don't even dare work with water colors....way way too many things to think about. Oil is a very direct medium and was perhaps made for dense fellows like myself.

If I was smart I wouldn't either. But alas, I fell under its spell long ago and am determined to get better.
