Description
Yep, this is version X of this piece, that means I might make yet another version if I feel like it.Changes from version WIP:
- remodelled the syringes
- fluid changed
- changed some contrast
- made a dent where the needle hits the cube
- uhh.. perhaps something more too, but I've forgot
EDIT: better quality render

An interesting concept, the syringes are really realistic too.

hm u used Kithen Probe HDRI for this one? if yes maybe try some other one i think colors it gives the image aren't exactly fitting but thats just me
and i think that metal material on the syringe looks a bit strange.. but besides that i really likee the cube and how those fluids look in it
and fluid and glass r looking great aswell.. i think u could use sharper caustics tho for cooler effect
ok i think thats about it
great job and indea in overall

Thanks for the comment. Hehe, yep, that's the kitchen probe map, I guess it's the most used hdri-map around. Maybe I should have used another one, but I kinda liked the yellowish colours, but oh well. I could try with something else, I have some other hdri-maps somewhere on my computer. And the metal looks strange? Hmm... I kind of agree, in a way it doesn't look very... metallish. I could try to experiment a bit with it.
I haven't used 3dsmax (or any other 3d-program) for a while now though, maybe I should start again by making a remake of this...

I'll try it, thanks. And I don't really like my syringe-models that much, I might try to remake them to look better.
Thanks again, constructive critisism is always very welcome!

Thanks!
I hadn't seen that image before, no. Though both have syringes, my piece is not an imitation of his work. Though I hope I'll get as many comments and favs on my piece, as he's got on his work there

A bit abstract, but I love it. Especially the designs of the injections is what I like. Nice lighting as well.

As I use 3dsmax6, I made 2 PClouds with MetaParticles put next to eachother. Then I put a transparent red raytrace map on one, and a green one on the other. Was that helpful?

This would be good even if the modeling sucked. The idea is just something I haven't seen before. So great idea and great modeling!
