Wicked! This looks really cool, and the Tengu is very menacing. That old guy is definitely crow-food now. I love the details and the colors here, the feathers and wings in particular look very realistic.

Im sorry to sound stupid but, what is a Tengu? I can clearly see it's of Japanese culture, yes? Oh no, please don't listen to me, I'll simply find out myself.
This piece is just surperb! The background is just enough to make anyone be in awe; the feathers done on the crows, have such lovely detail! And the Tengu's clothing is so.. Oh dear, whats the word? Appropriate?
Yes, well there is that japanese build frame that the crows are priched on, so yes the clothing is appropriate for this wonderious piece. This is a absolute +fav

Wonderfully eerie. The colours set the dark mood very nicely, along with the poses of the different birds and the looming Tengu. I especially love how the rays of light part in such a way that the Tengu is right in the middle. This is about the seventh time I looked back up at the deviation to gaze at it, and I'm finding something new everytime. The mist on the bottom, that really kicks the mood into full power. Wonderful colours, as i've said before.
I've never read anything about the Tengu, but you've seriously interested me into reading the portfolio. Incredibly wonderful work.
