Hakutaku, Tengu, Kitsune, and Kappa are definitely my favorite yokai. I love the Tengu even more by looking at this. Beautiful.

Very nice. I love the creepy vibes one gets from this piece of art. At the same time however it feels very 'Halloweenish.' Not that this is bad of course, but for me I prefer a more traditional style of art when I'm looking this sort of thing up.
I love it, either way.

Tess! REALLY great work! I love the amazing detail... the trees, the birds, the light rays, the folds on Tengu's clothing. Amazing colors in this... such contrast between the brilliant fall colored leaves and the darkness of the birds, Tengu and the forest ground. BEAUTIFUL!

No words can express how much I love this painting. Everything is so detailed, and the light to dark transition is smooth. Most of all, I love the colors, setting a dark tone that plants a firm image in my mind of how much this creature should be respected and feared.
