Very nice! Looks like it could have been a cover for Marvel's Deadly Hands of Kung Fu magazine.
MOKF was a great book. Martial Arts and classic Bond-ish spy stories.
Gulacy's art was brilliant, but later artists Mike Zeck and Gene Day also had brilliant styles.
Your pic really captures the spirit of the character.

Yeah, I agree...for me, Gulacy was the man...probably had something to do with where I was at in my life at the time, plus being a huge Bruce Lee fan didn't hurt!

Perfect! If Shang-Chi had ever come to the screen, who but Bruce could have played him?

Very true! But, I think now, someone like Jet Li could probably do it.

Dude. I duuno how this passed me up, but his is awesome. It looks JUST like Bruce Lee, being a huge fan of him and you. I have to favorite this. The realism, the SURrealism, the action. You are AMAZING.

Thanks! It was a commission and, considering Paul Gulacy based the look of this character on Lee back in the 70's, it made sense to use him. And, of course, I have always loved Bruce Lee (and have done a few pieces of him in the past). I would have liked to put more time into this, but I had already gone way beyond what I should have done.

Oh, he was big in the 70's, Paul Gulacy drew it and drew it well (it was done later as well, but I don't know those versions)

Yeah, I thought as much! Check it out online or something, though, the art was really nice. We're talking mid seventies through the very early eighties.
