Nice look in his eyes and great background for it. But I think his face do not totally match Jim, especially in the darkest parts. Anyway it's great portrait, we can see his internal demons here

Yeah, I sorta ended up capturing the general feeling of him and his music, I think, but not a perfect likeness.

I didn't have time the first time 2 check the close up but it's amazing! Really I mean it hardcore now that I took a closer look! Did U use watercolor or ink or something along those lines? I'm in love with the hair! Stunning

hahaha, no, no, no way have I memorized faces (though, by now, I may be able to do a tori that is somewhat close). I always find as good a reference as I can..sometimes I change things as I need to.

the face/jawline is very square-ish and pointy and stick-y-out-y in weird places, so it makes it a wee bit awkward, but it's nice. i like the background very much.
