she has a new site i think, but her watercolour works are in a similar style, its really great i love this kind of thing. i really love the splashes down the side, they have that random yet controlled look- as if you just flicked your brush and they landed in the right places - so jealous...

Really like the use of negative space in this one with the minimal colour. it just really caught my eye as i browsed through your amazing gallery.

I like this concept!

And, the going with the purple makes it seem more subtle. As opposed to going with a brash, in-yo-face colour like red.

I know you've ben learning new techniques and media lately, but I still really dig your watercolor work. It's a hard media to get the hang of and you do it well. Hope we see some more new stuff soon!

How did you do that? It looks like you just splattered paint on and it turned into something. Is it water colour? I love it by the way!

Yeah, it is watercolor. And, you are close...but what you do is do the important parts somewhat carefully (but loose) and then play around a bit with some of the outlying areas. Watercolor can be fun!
