Description Due to alot of request on this. I made a tutorial on how to make a planet.

EDIT: After a little message from There are two things i forgot to mention.

1. The version of Apophysis i am using is BETA 2.09. The guide is made with this version in mind. So the placements of sertain functions differ. Along with other functions aswell
(link: [link] )

2. When you are reaching the point to render to disk. Above the resolution options, there is a destination path. Here you can sett where the complete renders land on your computer

If there are things missing or not working correctly, send me a message here on deviantart and let me know.

Enjoy!

I'm having two issues - First issue, on the latest version of Apophysis the transparency option isn't where it is in the tutorial. I've tried looking and couldn't find it.

I figured I could work without it, so I've rendered several files, but the files never appear on my hard drive.

What version are you using? They have the old versions available so I'll grab one of those.

First of all. Im using the beta 2.09. You can get it from the same website, but look for where it's says BETA

Second. I forgot to say this in the tutorial. But when you click on render to disk. You will se a destination filepath above it. So browse where you want all renders to land. You can also check where your files are being stored by seeing the filepath before you change it. just so you can get the already rendered files.

Thanks for pointing this out and letting me know.

I figured out why it wasn't saving. The default location is inside the program files apophysis folder, and unless you run the program in administrator mode it doesn't have permission to save there, so Windows was rejecting the files. So now it's saving to my desktop. I have the beta version now and things are going much better.
