Oh my f--bleeping-- crap, this is finally frikkin' finished!!!!
That is not a good reaction to have to your art, especially when it looks like this (I have no IDEA what I was trying to do with Mertil's shading. UGH.) I think I tried for half an hour to fit a tail blade into the top panel somewhere before I remembered "hey, it's MERTIL. He doesn't HAVE one." Ugh.
This is the last page I have scripted, sketched and finished for Mind's Eye. It's going on hiatus, since it's becoming more of a nuisance than a help, and because I've turned my efforts to an actual original comic. Everybody go blame it on this. Anyway, if I do piddle around with Mind's Eye in the future, it may not be up to this quality. I depends on how many people are actually interested in it.
*ahem*
IT REALLY DEPENDS ON HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE INTERESTED IN IT.

I'm guessing it'd be hard for Andalites to tell humans apart, so he's probably thinking "Who the hell's just strolling into my house like this? .....It's greeting me like it knows me.... well, I suppose it does look pretty familiar."

Aw, thanks. I'm glad you liked this old thing. Unfortunately, this story has been pretty dead for almost five years now. I did make a brief attempt to resurrect it but it never went anywhere. I've moved on to other things, which tends to happen to a lot of my projects before they're completed.
But I do still make comics! Just about different things now

Meril was definitly one character that caut my eye, he was different from other Andalites. Some (read most) andalites was complete jerk 'cept for a few induviduals. ;3
This comic is pretty neat and I for one would love to se where it goes. But the artist is the one calling the shots, not me. ^^

I did love that series, and Mertil especially. Soemthing about underdeveloped characters that are completely forgotten about in the books makes me want to share the love for them
I'm not I even remember where this comic was going, save for a trippy-brain trip and some deep wisdom about being physically or mentally scarred. I tried briefly to reboot it but my interest was waning. I've left it up mostly because a lot of people really seem to like it, but I honestly don't know if I'll ever finish it. Sorry!

Sadly, my enthusiasm for these things and my available time to work on them tend to fluctuate out of sync. It's unfortunate, and something I've been trying to remedy for several years now.

Thanks a whole lot! I have this constant mental battle about wanting to keep doing this and wanting to do my own stuff, and end up not doing much of either.
Though I won't lie ... the idea of restarting this has been on my mind. I did a pinup not long ago [link] ... if it ever does restart, it will be quite different, I think.

Y'know, so many people have been commenting on this lately ... it's kind of crazy, since I haven't done anything for it in almost two years.
Last night I woke up at about two in the morning with my arm numb cuz I slept on it funny, and the most brilliant incredible idea for restarting this damn comic that I almost got up and turned my tablet on. I spent some of today sketching full character designs for Ax, Mertil and Gaffinilan. So depending on how well things go for me in this next month, we might actually see something.
