Description
As stated in the tutorial, this is just how I draw fire. There are definitely some conflicts with realism, but it usually gives the effect that I want out of pictures, so it works well for me~This was made in photoshop, but the principle applies to pretty much any art program. If necessary, switch the larger back glow effects to the first step, in a situation where you don't have disposable layers.
Tutorial drawn by me~ Feel free to use it for personal use, but if reposting, please let me know where it's being reposted to~ (This only applies if the file is saved and uploaded elsewhere. You can link to it anywhere)

This is very helpful! I find myself drawing fire more and more often these days. I think my fire technique will improve now that I've seen this. The adding of the glow *behind* the fire is a seemingly simple technique but one I have never thought of. Thanks for sharing!

You read my mind, I just saw your newest deviation today at school and was wondering how you made the fire xD
I might use this for something someday. Thanks!
