Description
Here's a piece I did for my Illustration final. Another cover of Howl's Moving Castle. The whole image didn't make it into the scanner, and I am terrible at scanning pictures in halves, so I didn't even bother. @_@ This was painted in acrylic washes and lined with pen.Related content

I've read the book and have the movie on DVD, but I can't tell which one this is supposed to be for. If it's for the book, could you please tell me which part? I'm sorry, I borrowed it from the public library in my town, and it's been a couple years, so my memory's not that great on it! XD

This is for the book. Sophie has red hair in the book, but not in the movie.
I wasn't going for a specific part. I haven't read the book since college but I seem to remember that Sophie would often get lost in her thoughts. I wanted to depict her looking thoughtful and wistful.

Aww! This is really cool! I love it! I think the colors you used really captured that part of the story and all the emotions that go with it for the characters!

This picture actually makes me think of Sophie in medieval times. The stone walls is probably what it is. Beautiful portrayal of her and actually my favorite part of this piece are the hats. =]

So much detail. I'm trying to figure out how she did her hair. And she looks... longing, curious. It's lovely.

It's so nice seeing fanart from the book. I like Sophie's expression, it really suits her personality. And I love the details and all the hats.

I can even see the "mushroom"-like hat that helps the town excentric win the heart of the mayor. Great details. ^_^
