This comic was based on a conversation Sarah and I had during a long night of cutting art cards for our next convention appearance...which tends to happen during our patented pre-con all-nighters. SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK....and thumbless.

My mother actually did that. Chopped the tip of her thumb right off with a knife while she was talking about plastic chips.

Oww man making me cringe! I still I can't believe you guys! Feeling bad for the card. It's obviously the blade you should feel bad for. It didn't have any say if it was going to ruin the card or not. Kevin just though it would be really funny if he runied some good cards. The blade disagreed but there was nothing he could do to stop it.
Comic made me chortle as always with a good expereince we are all afraid of.

I actually sliced off a part of my thumb with an X-acto knife while shaving paint off of a PVC pipe once. Took a week for it to heal.

This kind of happened to me the other day. It was raining and I was dumb and drove my scooter anyways. First turn I took down the road and it slipped and I fell off (only going 10 MPH) and as my scooter slid down the road all I could think as I watched it was "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MY SCOOTER IS ALL SCRATCHED NOW!! ;O;"

I actually have a very efficient guillotine that isn't sharp, in fact it doesn't have a blade, and it still cuts like wonders... but not thumbs.

Actually I have done this before... it was the very very tip of my thumb. I didn't even notice it as in pain at first, I just saw something fall off towards the side. Then I realized that what it was and immediately worried about the piece I was cutting. Thankfully no bleeding occurred till I went to go clean it. Another time I sliced my finger doing 3D fold projects. I got blood AAAALLLL over it and looked at my professor, blood everywhere asking if I had to do that shape again. He looked at me kind of blankly and yelled at me about my finger........ what awesome times
