So I'm sure you all have seen the new Thundercats cartoon on cartoon network, and it's pretty dope! I think they borrowed a bit to much from Star Wars, but that's cool cause I'm diggin that atmosphere. The only thing I don't like is the Panthro's design (back to that in a sec) and the voices. I like the old school voices for Liono Panthro, and Tygra... idk that's just me.What bothers me about Panthro's design is that they showed old school Panthro as the younger version in a flash back, and that design to me is still killing it.
Anyway, I've been really into the digital painting thing and got inspired by a fellow dev Dave Rapoza. He did Liono and Cheetara. So I figured I'd do the homie Panthro.

Badass Panthro, and agreed. Panthro's design is the only one that I'm not big on, old school all the way there

This is pretty sick, man! only thing that bothers me a bit are his proportions, but I guess that's the way you envision him. Killer job though!
I love the new Thundercats cartoon, I'm a huge fan of the old school cartoon as well, I can see what you're saying about panthro's new design but I still dig it.
I liked they changed everything up a bit, even the voices, because now I guess we see a younger Lion-o so it's pretty reasonable to me he doesn't have a grown, deeper voice, but that's just me!
