This is just amazing. Could you tell me how did you get this fabulous effect? The texture, colors and the model's expression - it all of reminds me of a wild storm, sand & wind.

Hey Magda.... First, thank you! Second, it's a hybrid of the photo and oil color. It allows for alot of surprise in combining the two and I can never really predict how any piece will come out in the end....On the technical end, this was shot on 35mm Tri-X with a 25Red filter. I lit it with a single softened strobe...and naturally a fan. Also she had the unusual quality of deeply tanned skin with near white hair.

Thank you.... it all happened in/on the photo. I only use PS to touch out dust or specular highlights. I brightened it just a tad for viewing on a monitor.... thank you for seeing the spiritual aspects as well...

it really interested me.
i am spiritual myself , so i guess i take a deeper look into art as it's moulded me in so many different ways.
I'm curious about PS, i dont have this but i have seen alot of effects and work done by this. Seems amazing the technology we have today.

Nz is very pure, theres so much life here that you dont see elsewhere, the people are also living a different life, it's hussle and bussle in some places but in others you feel as if you've steeped back in time..
It triggers alot of emotions.
