Sure. The point of this graphic is to show men and women in the Bible that God used in big ways. We should never think that these people were perfect though, and they had their own set of problems and shortcomings. If we ever get discouraged by our own flaws, we need to be reminded that God uses imperfect people. Hope that helps!

You say men and women, but I only see men here. Also: by including Zaccheus in here you are equating being short with some really negative concepts such as murder. I don't think that's what you intend, but it sure does come off that way. It's also baffling that you would focus on Zaccheus being short rather than an embezzler.

God used women as well. Deborah was a prophetess, and Esther saved the Jews from annihilation. Get this, There is a prostitute in Jesus' family tree: Rahab, who saved two of Joshua's spies from being caught by Jericho's guards.

Nanenna Zaccheus was short and couldn't see Jesus and Jesus couldn't see him (though Jesus knew what was going to happen). Because Zaccheus wanted to see Jesus a lot, he climbed up to a tree so Jesus could see him. Jesus then called him, a tax collector, and a sinner, and asked him to spend a night with him. Zaccheus then offered to give up his riches to be saved.

And Sarah is a female. There are other females without names mentioned, like the woman of the well. www.biblegateway.com/passage/?…

Yes, Jesus called him a sinner and a tax collector, which were both true. So considering that the closest single word description for what most tax collectors of the time did was embezzling, why would you focus on his shortness in a list of murderers and adulterers and have him be the one and only with what could be considered a physical disability? We all know Zaccheus was a wee little man, a wee little man was he and that he climbed a sycamore tree (I also went to Sabbath school every week as a child), it just seems so shallow to focus on that over his desire to repent.

What tax collectors commonly did at the time was embezzle money from the people they collected taxes from. Zaccheus would look at his list of people to collect from, see that a person owed the Roman government $50, go knock on his door, tell him he owed the government $100, then pocket the extra $50 and send the other $50 to the government. If you can think of a better word for that than embezzling, please let me know. Or did you never stop to consider why "tax collector" was an insult or how that would make Zaccheus a sinner?

If you included other people with disabilities, the blind man Jesus healed and went on to spread His gospel for instance, or that Moses had a stutter, and didn't have ONLY a short person amongst adulterers and murderers it wouldn't feel like you were implying shortness was equivalent to lying and cheating.

I think the point is we remember Zaccheus more for him being short rather than his tax collector status and him cheating people of his money. Plus you remember simply because of a song made about him lol.

I was just putting my two cents in, not starting a fight. If I upset you, I am sorry.

I was not upset, I was being earnest. I was not trying to fight, I was trying to point out what could be a problem in an otherwise lovely piece. I think mentioning the embezzlement only muddied the issue and it was my mistake to add it in. My main point was and still is that most everything else on the list: lying, cheating, murder, adultery... are all choices. Even impatience and doubting are a choice: you can't choose to feel those emotions, but you do choose how to deal with them. But Zaccheus has no choice in his height, having that next to murderers and adulterers is like saying being short is on par with being a liar or a murderer, and that doesn't seem fair to short people. I hope you take such things into consideration in your next piece and have a blessed evening.
