Always be sure to read the entire verse and entire chapter to understand the meaning. As you can see, its very dangerous to pick out bits and pieces of the Bible and parade it as truth.

This is usually what people are thinking of when they say that the Bible has contradictions. They either take things out of context or they're just parroting someone else who did the same thing and they've never even read it for themselves. This is one of the things that leads to ignorance.
