So, just a small thought. Does anyone here know/still remember Redo of Healer? I was thinking, what if there was a Spiderverse version of Keyaru? For this crossover, he is bitten by the spider either before or during his torture.

In the former, his Spider-Senses warn him of the drugged tea, though he drinks just enough not to seem suspicious to Flare (his improved body grants him some resistance to the drug's effects). As he wanders the castle in Jioral, he soon discovers that most of the inhabitants are messed up, so he eventually leaves and returns to his village. He tries to warn the villagers about what he found out, but few, if any, believe him. Eventually, it is decided that Keyaru will leave the village with Anna and a handful of villagers while the rest try to clear up any misconceptions/divert the attention of the Jioral forces/hold off the Jioral forces.

In the latter, the spider appears sometime after the first few times Keyaru was tortured and drugged. The bite grants Keyaru the standard Spiderman abilities and strengthens his resistance to the drug. He eventually escapes, but not before thrashing Renard in the process. His appearance makes it somewhat easier to convince the villagers of what the Kingdom of Jioral really is like; the village may also have some kind of healer who is able to detect traces of the drug in his blood. As a result, he is able to leave with either a lot more villagers or even the entire village itself. His group would later resettle somewhere away from the kingdom.

From here, the plot of Redo of Healer more or less proceeds similarly to the original. In either version, Keyaru is nowhere near the twisted person he is in the original story, though the version in the latter scenario may be somewhat more serious in personality. He would also have organic web shooters, and he would probably get the Eye of Truth much later than in the original story. Anna and at least one of the other villagers will also join Keyaru's party.
