EDIT: was wonderful enough to compile an extire list of changes that occur to Voltorb's stats/abilities/etc. It's really well done and very interesting! I suggest anyone who enjoys the appearance of the Voltorb go check it out!!!

My entry to Pokedorks. It took my entire night but it's finally done! What's funny is my space entry was a 'form change' thing too. xD But I actually like this more than my rotom picture.

Voltorbs have been suggested to be artificial Pokemon, a mutation of a pokeball. When trainers set out for these Pokemon they are shocked to find when caught with anything other than a normal Pokeball, their forms will alter to resemble the Pokeball that they were captured in.

If released into the wild, their form will be return to normal. And in roleplays and such, if pokeball swapping occurs, the Voltorb will change then as well.

The forms would slightly alter their stats (fast/quick more speed, heavy more physical attack, heal more HP, etc).
