One image from a chibi Calendar I am making to sell on Deviant Art. The Calendar will feature all 8 of my element goddess' (From my manga) for each month - plus four new goddess who are made for the calendar only. Once complete, the Calendar will be on sale at DA as well as individual prints of each girl which will be up once they've been submitted.

This is Hikari, goddess of Light. Representing the month of: November.

I debated for a while about naming the light goddess 'Hikari'. It just seemed like...the obvious choice that anyone would take. But the more I searched for a better name, the more I liked this one until it stuck, so I ended up keeping it.

I came up with her final design while in theory class a couple of weeks ago...sadly, her boots don't look as good in chibi style (I love her final boot design). The hair ended up being curls since I love doing them. X3 She was also going to be dark skinned at one point, but I like the fact that Rosa is my only dark-skinned goddess and didn't want to take away any of her thunder. Besides, Mangu (Darkness) is pretty dark herself. :3

Want to know a little more about her? here's some facts:
* Along with Mangu, she's known as one of the 'big sisters' of all the other goddess' (though not blood related). She was the one who came up with the big sister idea (but don't let Mangu know, or she'll get really angry.)
* She like glitter and shiny things...pretty much anything that will reflect light and sparkle. She runs glitter through her hair.
* Pretty much the most princess-like of all the goddess'. Dresses to match this as well.
* She's addicted to sweet things...Candy is her biggest weakness
* Loves wearing white...the only downside is Midori helps her keep her curls in shape...Midori is the goddess of earth and earth and white don't get along well.
