Had WAY too much fun with this, even if there were things I could have done better with.A lot is heavily inspired by Bob Rafei's concept art for the original game. Rather than copy the final design they used for the temple in the Jungle, I sorta mish-mashed a bunch of his concepts into something I liked.
And thanks to Tanya for the tip on Daxter's pose. He looks far more relaxed now. :3

great job on Jack Daxter it really brings me back to the first game and really brings the scene of the game to life in this image, I love how there back are facing use as they view the world it really makes me feel like im staring at the screen of my tv as a child and playing the game in third person view.

what a wonderful work of art! I feel so bad for Jak and the others though...I bet his heart aches from the pain of being homesick...missing sandover village...the forbidden jungle...all of it...I know what its like to be taken from the home that you know and love...and hold so dearly...the memories...the ones I have a sad and happy...happy because it reminds me of when I was younger...but sad because it reminds me of how I was ignored and hated...how I lost my grandmother and adoptive father...and how my oldest brother rusty...used to be my closet friend....but now hes in the army and I rarely ever see him...my other two siblings treat me like dirt...along with my poor mom...but I also see some good memories...you know the kind that make you want to go back...and do your darndest to change...or atleast try to change the past...if only we had time reversal...

Wow, do you realise how alike this is to the conceptual art style for Precursor Legacy? The colours were well picked, they are very much true to the games scheme.Β They are very well blended too.
Gah, just looking at this makes me want to put my disk in the PS3 (what, I'm a bit lazy to wire the PS2 up right now XD) and play a bit.

Wow, this is beautiful! The scenery looks amazing, the coloring too. This might be an odd thing to comment on, but I particularly like the way you handled the subtle color changes in Jak's hair.

IDK why, when I was little (probably 7) I was TERRIFIED of this level, the Forbidden Jungle.. I think it was because of the music and the sudden atmospheric change from happy to dark looking surroundings. I was too scared to even finish the level and ended up selling the game. When I got older, I bought the game again and tried replaying it, assuming I would still be scared. I was xD. But I ended up doing it and it's not so bad! lol

Fantastic colors! I think the first game is also my favorite. The others were good too, but the first had a sort of tribalish and charming quality to it. Haha, sorry, I don't know how to explain it.

(Sighs) Ah, memories. I always had a special place in my heart for TPL since it was one of my first video games, and since I didn't play the sequels until later in my life. Anyway, you did a great job with this. You captured the environment just perfectly, and with Jak and Daxter placed right in the middle of the picture and from the back...it almost gives me the same feeling I did years ago when I first explored the strange world of J&D. Thank you for giving me the warm fuzzies while making my eyes happy!

I have fond memories of this game...*has a moment of nostalgia*...except the Lurker Shark and the fishing and rat shooting challenges. The environments are so lush and unique, and I never get bored with the missions. And if you ask me, the graphics are WAY better in this classic adventure then the next installments of the series.
Hmmm... I wonder what this game would kook like if Naughty Dog made the Uncharted games for the PS2 and the Jak and Daxter games for the PS3?... OMIGOSH! THE GRAPHICS ARE EVEN MORE EPIC!
