Had WAY too much fun with this, even if there were things I could have done better with.A lot is heavily inspired by Bob Rafei's concept art for the original game. Rather than copy the final design they used for the temple in the Jungle, I sorta mish-mashed a bunch of his concepts into something I liked.
And thanks to Tanya for the tip on Daxter's pose. He looks far more relaxed now. :3

Ahh, memories, memories. This is my favorite of the games so far too, and the way the second game is going right now, I wish they could have stayed this way. I love the floating blue eco platforms and you did a fantastic job with the temple. Amazing job with the colors and poses too.

This is beautiful. All the colors are bright and vivid. They come to lifeee, maaannn. Jak's hair is super pretty too. Good job on the fabric.

When I saw this, my jaw dropped. And I instantly favorited it. This is just sooo cool. It masterfully captures the beauty and mystery of the Forbidden Jungle and the massive Precursor monolith baring the mesmerizing gyroscopicly swirling rings. I love it.

The colors, blending, lighting, poses and background! <3 There is so much to look at and the fact that it is all done traditionally makes me VERY happy. I'm such a sucker for good 'ol art mediums.

This is actually Jak and Daxter from the first game in the trilogy of the same name; Jak & Daxter, that came out in 2001.

I'm currently replaying through the entire trilogy but I have yet to hit Jak 3 for the second time around. . . but now I'm curious.

Actually in the wasteland its the final battle, the temple is in the jungle, you have to go around on your jetboard destroying some evil purple plants, later on the jungle gets conquered by the evil ppl and you have a pretty tough fight there

this is such an amazing picture. I think it really captures the ambition and adventuress side of jak and daxter. it also makes me feel very nostalgic for that game
