I loved Max. When I was a young teen his movie was the on screen representation of my personal struggles. I could really relate to Max and his troubles.
But on to the drawing! You did especially well on this one. I'm not sure if it's because your style lends itself well to Disney's internal style or because of something else but the shading here is excellent. You also captured his expression very well. Let down and looking for guidance from people he trusts, but betrayed by the same.
All in all an excellent piece!

XD Actually, no. I was just looking at reference art and trying to draw a pose that wasn't in any of the pics, though I guess it does resemble that scene in a way too (thing about drawing in Disney style, huh? There's usually a pose/expression for it done somewhere X3). Thanks, hon!
