Tanya sent me some Froggy Prince Naveen sketches earlier in the week to colour - how could I possibly resist?
This guy is hands-down my fave Disney Prince (only real contenders are Beast and Aladdin - though technically Aladdin married into Royalty but all the same... X3).
Still, Naveen charmed the pants off of me. He has personality, charms, a great voice (such a shame he only sang once the whole film, though!) I think he really made me go from liking 'The Princess and the Frog' to ADORING it.
(Though I've gotta give some credit to Charlotte too, I love her as well!)

I just seen this movie today! It was so amazing! I love the part where He has the butterfly bowtie! His face is priceless! I rewinded the movie 20 times just to see that facial expression! xD This is really good! I love seeing Tanya's work coloured! You always do such an amazing job on them!

Naveen reminds me so much of Jean-Bob from the Swan Princess... But they`re both great none the less.

Haha, there was a bunch of stuff from The Swan Princess that Disney stole for The Swan Princess. But they did pretty good with it. I still enjoyed the movie.

Haha, Charlotte was great comic relief, but she was also a sweet character. 
I agree with you on the fave princes, though I do happen to like Eric as well. He's like a breath of fresh air, all boyish charm and everything.

The movie really was pretty good. Wish Naveen had gotten a little more back-story in the movie... especially how he got away from Dr. Facilier and Lawrence. That always bugged me.

I think my favourite part of the whole movie was the mincing. LOL. Anyway! I really like the shading and colouring you did here! It really picks off the Disney style but has an softer, original quality to it! ^^

Your friend has done some wonderul little sketches there, I think they capture him perfectly... the colours aren't bad either~ 
When beast turned back into random generic price in Beauty and the Beast I kept thinking 'Just stay as you were!'
but with Naveen he's an amazingly lovable character, whether he's a frog or a prince so I'm glad fan art of him is starting to flood in. Though I still wish more people would draw Lotte (my friends hate her for some reason! D8 )

I tried looking into that but I got bored quickly. XD Tia's obviously an American Tree frog (or something similar). Naveen COULD be something African - as I know some of those frogs have teeth, but then again most species of frogs actually have some form of teeth anyways. XD
