My Trip to Disneyland Hong Kong yesterday had me tempted to do some Disney art. I love our Adventureland, and it has ALOT of Tarzan themes but...Jane gets so little love. I mean...there's the Tarzan's tree house, the rafts are named after the gorillas from the movie, Terk's a greetable character...heck, even Prof. Porter has his own store there, but there's very little Jane. D:Also, kudos to those who get the title. 'Waiting for this moment' is Jane's solo song from Tarzan on Broadway. I love her song so much...to the point I wish it was in the original film.

Yea... I wish they would of kept the song "If I never knew you" in the Pocahontas movie. :/ its a pretty song... it was sapposed to be in the sence where Pocahontas goes to talk to Jhon Smith while he was tied to the pole in the tent.

Jane's one of my favorite characters. At California's Disneyland, they had a greetable character out and about in the parks when the movie came out -- she even showed up in the Christmas parade.
But about a year afterward, Tarzan and Terk were at least in some of the parades, but Jane seems to have vanished. I'll have to check to see if she's still on the Mark Twain riverboat at the end of Fantasmic (where they cram on as many characters as possible) -- but dangit, why isn't she out and about?

And this is such a wonderful picture of her! Her dress is fantastic, and I love how you outlined in a darker brownish-red, instead of black. It's softer, and it complements the other colours you used.

Jane: And I turn around and there's a whole TREE full of 'em-
Porter: What?
Jane: -MONKIES-
Clayton: What did she say?
Jane: BUNCHES of 'em-
Clayton: Monkies!
Jane: They were snarling and -*makes monkey noises*
Clayton: What is she-
Porter: Let her finish, she's quite good at this.
Jane: And suddenly I was in the air. I was swinging, I was IN the air.
Porter: Good heavens!
Jane: And then we were surrounded!
Porter: What did you do?
Jane: And Daddy, they TOOK my boot!
Porter: Good heavens, those are the ones I bought you.
Jane: And then I was saved... I was saved by a flying wildman in a loincloth.
Porter: Loincloth, good Lord....
....is it bad I knew all that from memory? >.<

I went to Disneyworld and Jane was in Epcot. The group thought she was Mary Poppins. I deliberately told them that was Jane and was sadden by the fact that Jane was even in the full yellow dress costume... Ugh -_-
